SEMINAR

  1. Make a thesis draft and checked thesis surveillance item, or as known as ‘butir penilikan skripsi’ at the form (Click here to access thesis surveillance item).
  2. The thesis manuscript must be initialed by all supervisors as proof of approval for holding the seminar. If your thesis draft has been initialed by all supervisors, please fill approval of thesis draft form (Click here to access the form).
  3. Make a draft of seminar summary. Please use seminar summary template by the following link (Template of seminar summary). The seminar summary manuscript must be initialed by all supervisors as proof of approval for holding the seminar. If your seminar summary has been initialed by all supervisors, please fill the seminar summary approval form (Click here to access the form).
  4. Upload documents for verification process via seminar document verification form (Click here to access the form). Documents that must be uploaded for verification process are:
    • Final assignment control card or as known as ‘kartu kendali tugas akhir’ that has been filled in in the consultation material column with at least 3 (three) times consultations for each all supervisors.
    • Proof of communication that show student and their supervisors have been communicate regarding filling in the final assignment control card.
    • Seminar summary draft that has been approved by all supervisors.
  5. The result of document verification process will be notified by email (fulfilled / not fulfilled).
  6. If the result of document verification is ‘fulfilled’, then student can fill the approval form* for seminar implementation via the link (Click here to access approval form).
  7. Filling seminar registration form** through the link (Click here to access seminar registration form). Requirements for seminars registration are:
    • The transcript that shows the number of credits that have been completed.
    • Seminar card (have attended seminars at least 15 times at Department of Aquatic Resources Management, and twice each at other departments in the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences).
    • Draft thesis that has been approved and initialed by all supervisors.
    • Seminar summary that has been approved and initialed by all supervisors, as well as has passed the document verification process.
    • List of names and student identification numbers (NIM) of prospective seminar participants.
  8. After completing approval form and seminar registration form, student have to confirms to the academic administrator of study program.
  9. The result of seminar application verification will be notified by email (fulfilled / not fulfilled).
  10. If fulfilled, then the study program will determine a study program representative lecturer who will be the moderator in the seminar. If not fulfilled, then students must check and fulfill the requirements that have not been met and refill form at Seminar Registration Form.
  11. Academic administrator of study program will send seminar invitation letters to student.
  12. Students must distribute seminar invitation letters and seminar summary to all supervisors and study program representative lecturer who will be the moderator.

Important note:
*Approval form
is filled in a maximum of five working days prior to the seminar schedule plan.
**Seminar registration form is filled in a maximum of five working days prior to the seminar schedule plan.

  1. The seminar will be held at the Department of Aquatic Resources Management directly. The room for seminar will be informed by the academic administrator of study program.

  2. Students have to distribute seminar summary and invitation letter to all supervisors as well as study program representatives’ lecturer at least three to one day prior to the seminar.

  3. Students must be present in the seminar room no later than fifteen minutes before the seminar is starts.

  4. The seminar has a duration of about one hour.

  5. The seminar will be held in three sessions moderated by a lecturer representing the study program. The first session is the presentation of research results by students (students must present their research results within 15 minutes). Second session is discussion. The third session is a review by the supervisors.

  6. Supervisors and moderator conduct seminar assessments at the link bit.ly/NilaiSeminarMSP.

  7. Moderator fill the seminar official report form at bit.ly/BeritaAcaraSeminarMSP.
