The mass use of plastic since 1862 has provided many benefits for our daily lives. Transformed into various forms and functions, plastic makes many activities more effective and efficient, from packaging, clothing, vehicle tires, and many more.

However, the plastic we throw away does not really disappear. They decompose into dangerous microplastics and spread everywhere; in the air, water, and even our food. Although invisible, this threat is real and threatens our health.
