UNDERGRADUATE THESIS DEFENSE:
Plankton as Bioindicator

PLANKTON as BIOINDICATOR, In this research, Zulfa mastered the technique of phytoplankton and zooplankton identification, correlating plankton and water quality parameters, creating a grouping dendrogram between sampling stations, principal component analysis (PCA) to find out what water quality parameters have a strong influence on certain plankton populations at stations that are grouped based on dendrogram analysis. The data processing was done by implementing SPSS software. Such capabilities are needed as one of the tools in managing coastal and marine resources. Congratulations, Zulfa, who has also successfully completed her study period on time (less than four years) at Department of Aquatic Resources Management (MSP) FPIK IPB University. Thank you to Prof. Mennofatria Boer and Dr. Rahmat Kurnia who have provided valuable input in data processing. Thank you also to Prof. Niken TM Pratiwi as co-supervisor.
