BOGOR — The Department of Aquatic Resources Management (MSP), under the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK) at IPB University, has expressed its deepest appreciation and gratitude following the highly successful convening of the 4th International Seminar on Aquatic Resource Management (ISARM). The prestigious two-day international seminar was held from May 7 to 8, 2026.
Serving as a premier platform for global scientific discourse on aquatic resource management, the event recorded an outstanding turnout. A total of 291 participants from across the globe attended to ensure the success of this year’s agenda.
To comprehensively analyze the current challenges and the future of aquatic resources, the 4th ISARM featured six distinguished invited speakers, each an established expert in their respective fields. Furthermore, the dynamic scientific forum was enriched by the presentation of the latest research findings, comprising 111 oral presenters and 12 poster presenters.
The international character of the seminar was strongly underscored by the presence of delegates and researchers from 16 countries. The participating nations spanned multiple continents, including:
Asia & Southeast Asia: Indonesia (Host), Japan, China, Malaysia, the Philippines, Timor-Leste, Cambodia, and Vietnam
Europe: Russia, Spain, Sweden, and the Czech Republic
Australia & Oceania: Australia
South Asia: India
Africa: Comoros and Tanzania
