Department of Aquatic Resources Management (Manajemen Sumberdaya Perairan: MSP) was established after the integration between the Division of Fisheries Biology and the Department of Hydrobiology in 1981. These two divisions were previously established together with the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences in 1963. Administratively, DARM was strengthened by the Decree of the Minister of National Education Number 0546/1983 and restored through the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture No. 0110/0/1985.
Department of Aquatic Resources Management has five study programs consisting of one undergraduate study program (S1), two master study programs (S2), and two doctoral study programs (S3). The five study programs are the Study Program of Aquatic Resources Management (S1), the Study Program of Aquatic Resources Management (S2 and S3), and the Study Program of Coastal and Marine Resources Management (S2 and S3). The five study programs above have received “A” accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT).
